The launch of Tagore Institute of Peace Studies (Tips) took place on May 8, 2025, at the Abanindranath Tagore Gallery, ICCR, Kolkata, with a Round Table on “Towards Peace and Conflict Resolution.” The event was addressed by Mr Sitaram Sharma, Founder President, Tips, Ambassador Krishnan Srinivasan, IFS (Retd), Former Foreign Secretary of India, Major General (Retd) Arun Roye, AVSM, VSM and Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice-Chancellor, Adamas University & Founder Chairman, Tips. The session formally introduced Tips as an initiative of the West Bengal Federation of United Nations Associations (WEBFUNA) and outlined its commitment to building informed, compassionate and globally conscious peace practitioners.
