Be the Gamechanger: Kurukshetra Konundrum

The Tagore Institute of Peace Studies (TIPS) launched its Conflict Resolution Game Series with an energetic opening round of “Be the Gamechanger: Kurukshetra Konundrum” at Sushila Birla Girls’ School on January 26, 2026, featuring five teams from St. Xavier’s School, Birla High School, Birla High School Mukundapur, Sushila Birla Girls’ School and Patha Bhavan–Shantiniketan. Designed by TIPS, the game blends conflict resolution, reasoned dialogue, journaling, patience, leadership and strategic thinking. Participants stepped into the roles of key Kurukshetra figures—Draupadi, Bhishma, Arjun, Krishna and Duryodhan—negotiating under pressure to explore peaceful or strategic solutions. The exercise encouraged young minds to listen, collaborate and engage in thoughtful problem‑solving. Sushila Birla Girls’ School has partnered with us in this innovative initiative and that other schools from and outside Kolkata have joined in the game. The game drops the participants into the battlefield of Kurukshetra and gives them the onerous responsibility to negotiate different outcomes.
