About Us

The Tagore Institute of Peace Studies (Tips) moves on twin tracks. It delivers structured courses on peace, environment management and gamifies conflict management and hosts workshops for students on the one hand. On the other, it serves as a Think Tank, advancing national and international cooperation by conducting research, hosting seminars and curating collaborative events on peace-building, conflict resolution and pressing global challenges.

Working in partnership with schools, colleges, consulates, think tanks and academic institutions, Tips brings together experts, policymakers and students to examine and analyse shifting geopolitical landscapes. Its mission is to develop practical strategies for sustainable peace and dialogue, rooted in but also extending beyond the principles of the UN Charter.

The Context

Global and local crises driven by inequality, poor governance and environmental decline demand skilled professionals in the sustainable peace and development space. Tips’ courses aim to build the foundation for students to prepare to specialise in addressing these challenges, particularly in post-conflict, impoverished and misgoverned regions.

Our Offerings

Tips offers courses designed to equip students for peace-building, responsible leadership and community development across diverse global contexts. Its long-term vision is to evolve into a Peace University, expanding from short-term certifications to full diploma and degree programmes.

Your Career Pathways

Tips will train future community leaders, development strategists, diplomats and civil service aspirants, including those pursuing IAS and IFS. Tips offers a series of carefully designed capsules that prepare students for higher studies in peace and societal development and guide those committed to advancing harmony across society, instilling values of ethical entrepreneurship, ecological responsibility and empowering empathy.
